Soundcard fukked up or at least the configuration HELP PLS

Well, when i am on vent, and i wanna talk to someone, my outgoingsounds (boxes) are directly going to my ingoingsound (microphone). Even if i dont use boxes or a microphone, ppl can still hear what music i'm listening .

any suggestions?

Ps. i allready edited my sound options but that doesnt work! and it isnt ventrillo's problem bcause its with every soundprogram.

make sure you didn't plug the jacks in the wrong holes (don't laugh, it's the most common fault)

and try downloading the right drivers for your soundcard, if it's an onboard card, get the latest drivers for your motherboard.
