Video / Graphics problem

I just installed the game on my new computer and when i launch the game the load screen scrolls by really fast to where you enter username and password. After i put those in it goes to character select but the characters are invisible i can select them it shows their names and lvls but not them. Well after i select the character and get in the game all the buildings are invisible, i can see npcs and other players but not buildings. Also when someone does a nova it shows up as a big blob of pixels. Here are the specs on my computer
3.2ghz dual core pentium
256 nvidia 7900 gs
2gb ddr sdram
250gb mem
