    I just tried to download the patches bcz i formated my pc but now a msg appears "Extract failed"
    What can i do to fix it? Or where can i manually download the patches? 1472 btw.
    I got Windows XP Proffessional but my brother has same problem on vista.

    dunno about xp, but i got the same prob on vista an solved by running as administrator

    Im running with Admin-Acc but still dont work :S

    i got thet too b4.
    i just restart my pc.
    close all the programs are opens and try download the same patch
    somthing like 5 times.
    in the end its Work
    tell me from wich Page You Download?

    Im downloading via Luncher cuz if i download every single patch from KO patch it takes to long

    well, do i really have to download all those things? that are like 40 and everyone takes me lot of time to extract

    nope i download 1475 and all the rest after him
    there is one 1475 and he Are Patch 1455 or 1456 i dont know (dont remember) :]
    to 1475.
    and with server do you play?
    Edit: I Dont Know If Its Work With Vista.

    Searching the forum is often a good place to start. Several threads with exact same issue have all been answered by myself and others.

    Here is what took me 2 mins using search feature...

    Anyway, when you get this error you must manually download the offending patch and manually extract it to ur KO directory. After this u must update ur version setting in the KO "options". You can then re-load the launcher and continue to download patches.

    Repeat until client is fully updated.

    Thats what I did.
    rightclick on your KO foler (C/Programsfiles/KnightOnline


    Go in poprietes

    Go in security

    and allows all to this folder

    Soulution To This Is To

    1. My Computer
    2. C Drive or whatever drive KO Folder Is Stored on
    3. Go Into the Folder
    4. There Will Be Patch 1472 there if it has failed to extract it will still be there
    5. Delete The Files Called "patch 1472"
    6. The Ko Lancher will Automatically Re-Download It
    7. Might have to do this serval times

    Not sure Might Work Might Not but often this has worked for me.
