vent problems

I can hear every one in vent perfectly but if i talk they say that i cut out and then it all comes through a few minutes later.

Do you have any special voice effects enabled? I found that put a delay before voice transmitted. Can you send bindings at normal speed or do they take a long time too? There are probably some diagnostic RCon commands which could be used but I don't know them myself (only been a vent admin for a short while)

Also have a check on the ventrilo website what ports it needs opened and check that your outgoing ports are open on your firewall.
