there are certain things that are easier to do in sony vegas

for example, intros that are flashy (like deganos for example, not the intros of a character walking for 30 minutes)

you can either try to make them or download them already made and just change the text in like two seconds

All software out there are good to edit actually, its all about your creativity and imagination. If you are new to editing, then use sony vegas, the interface and tools are easy to understand, its only take like few hours to learn about it.


For advance editing, better use adobe premiere pro or final cut pro, there is so many things you can do by this 2 editing software. If you know how to design/edit in after effects, then adobe premiere will be like 'piece of cake' for you.

Most pros use Adobe Premiere for edits. Sony Vegas works much the same. However, it's much easier to integrate after effects files and also more LUTs are available and made for Premiere.
