Whenever I try to run KO I get a BSOD

bsod = blue screen of death for those that dont know.

since tech support has so few viewers, i was wondering if anyone else has the same problem.

steps:
1. download new patch
2. press start at launcher
3. blue screen: page_fault_in_nonpaged_area

anyone else has the same issue and/or managed to fix it?

running win xp sp2

deactivate firewall + av, it's the new apr functions thats causing this... or get 64 bit they don't have these problems

Try to open your Windows Calendar, get back to like 3-4 months ago, then open KO. This should fix it.

Check if its the right patch, if not try manual patching

im not sure y ur getting the BSOD but wen i got it on my old computer we took it in and got it checked. turned out i had a virus. but thats most likely not ur issue here. umm i would get its checked out. coz the BSOD is always a bad sign.
