windows Media Player Crashes computer

anyways, I've had this problem for quite sometime and have yet to find a solution

Let me explain the problem, Whenever I watch movies though Windows media player, Not any other program is doing this.

it plays for awhile, But suddenly the screen starts to get all greenish static-like squares all over the movie that's playing, Now I know this is not the file's as it's doing the same no matter what movie I watch with it.

When it does that, it also has the same type of green stuff following the mouse cursor and when you try to exit it, It will freeze the entire computer and it will give you the BSOD [Blue Screen of Death] I've tried Virus Scans, Ad aware, Malware, Rootkit, Rogue, Everything period and it's been doing this for months now.


So, I was wondering if anyone had this problem , and knew how to fix it - or perhaps someone that has the problem and just dunno wtf to do like me .
