i got same problem a kid of error after pressing start on launcher

i can only play from cafe cause i refuce 2 not have a thingie installed, firewall or whatever the name of it is virus scanner? bla bla u need 1 or i wont play online simple as that
delete your hosts file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and current xtrap folder. Then start launcher, and should download the new patch + xtrap. Idk if it will work for you, but did for me.

@sdk sniper: you dont have to delete hosts file. some time ago there was a problem downloading xtrap updates and adding xtrap server ips to hosts file fixed it. Apparently, you now have to remove them to be able to download updates.
Im using avast antivirus and can log in.

format c: /q
that will fix your problems!

Oh ok, I wasn't sure, thanks for the info, was just posting my results.
