Mage nova with no casting action ?

Is this a hack, a mage doing a nova with no casting animation. Plus she does 2nd nova couple seconds after 1st one dropped. Not sure on this person's lvl, so dunno if they lvl 70 and have 2 nova's. But looked suspicious, so posting here, before i send SS to KO.

It's 1337 hax, i use it to nova town solo


EDIT: There are Hacks that let mage spam skills without reload time and cancel animation, but i think in this case lag from the server just made it look like he didn't move but the flames around him show that he isn't hacking

it could also be a bug, I know I've seen some gg legit mages do the same thing in an aoe party sometimes. This games full of bugs so I wouldent label this as cheating just yet.

However the 2nd picture does look a bit suspicious.

anyways - at lvl 70 you have 2 novas, at lvl 75 you could have 3, so the number of novas says nothing really.
plus with the lag spikes on the servers these days I would not be much surprised by any graphical bug.

It's most definately not a hack. Rarely you'll see other mages than yourself completing the full casting animation.

but i prefer female mages to male for casting time... at least for me females cast faster

Sounds weird but if it is true, the only reason could be dex, which females had more of before RFOD.

its piss-easy to cancel casting animation, its when you move slightly just after the cast is successful but before the spell has gone through the server.. so basically cast until you see the yellow writing in the info box, then tap forward quickly...(you still see the animation, but others dont)

this is the bollox for priests - especially with skins cos u can cast faster than standing still and spamming ur heal button. also you can switch between heal targets quicker if you do this so its also great for pk

There is a tbl edit that can let you spam a mages skill without animation.
