This is old news m8 ,I got banned for a false claiming long time ago . anyway the reason i made this topic for is to warn people who

Just no. You've probably left their account logged in somewhere or something similar. No need for conspiracy theories.
If the database got hacked they'd take over the vip/mod/admin accounts, not some random member.

We had a security incident 2 years ago after one of our admins had his MSN account hacked. Since he used the same password here, the hacker had access to our admin panel and did all sort of nasty things. It took me a while to get rid of him but still we had to force password changes twice. Since then we made several changes to our security and also reduced the amount of admins here.

• If you haven't changed your password for a while, do so since its a good security practice.
• Make a habit of changing your passwords with certain frequency (every 3-6 months) and NEVER REUSE OLD PASSWORDS.
• Pick a complex password, not a simple name or number. Minimum 8 chars, upper and lowercase, numbers and at least 1 symbol.
• Don't share passwords between accounts (forum, game, msn, facebook, etc.).
• Never share your forum account.

If you follow this basic tips, you should be fine. But if you keep an insecure password or haven't changed for a long time, then you will get in trouble.
