on Ares best archer is Rokecool he had diet Windforce+10 shell set+10 wp+3 elf belt+3 2xROF'S+3 2XHR+4 fantasy char. He said he beat all with +10 vs.

It's cause on USKO they've corrupted the class with cooldowns on tanking skills thus making archer go only 1 build possible, that is full AP whore with usually low HP and defense (usually). The build is called sniper, some call it ksers, some call it artilery from background. The thing is that when there were no cooldowns on arrow shower or multiple shot archer was able to built good HP, resistances and defense in exchange for some AP loss. But it was able to act in party vs party fights as a warrior. Was able to take lots of hits and not die instantly, also not die on duffs. If played properly archer was death for int priests. On close range a good archer was comboing the bazinga on priests, canceling 90% of their heals along with styxes, it was unmissed member in party vs party fights. Even if budget for gear was short, in an active clan that forged nice PK parties you could still afford tank builds, you wouldn't get much kills by range, still would get quite some by shower/multi combo. You didn't have to be hardcore babashopper. Now in order to play a part in party even closely as you could before cooldowns on tank skills you need sick gear as archer, you can cast arrow shower and multi shot, when timed properly that also can cancel the heal but in shorter percentage, thus you try to make up for the previous support part in party, with higher damages. And for that you need AP.
