Could a gm have spawned it? Doubt K2 could have screwed up where to spawn the bosses.

K2 didnt screw up the bosses spawn, and Barrrk itself didnt spawn. A designated player did, with a Monster-Summon Staff, which is given by a GM, when you win a GM event.
It lets you spawn 5 random bosses (usually middle-class bosses i.e bach, bishop, duke, barkk, barrkira, javana, kekurikekukakaka, antares, etc).
And you can spawn it anywhere(not sure) , and thats why you see Barkirra on Isi floor.

Because people usually think they gonna get Felankor, Ultima, Isiloon or any high class bosses from it, so they USUALLY bring 2-3 parties, as you can see in that pic, they brought almost their whole clan.

So thats why he spawned it with so many people, his clan propably got few of those staffs and waiting for good boss.
