7 Mages 1 Priest is always the correct setup with a lvl 83 team.

The restore bug is the reason you never need a 2nd priest. The other reason is that there's no point trying to 8v8 melee parties. It's a waste of time. And the 2nd priest is only useful against melee parties. So with 7 mages you have a better chance of killing people and thus you make more nps. Even if you die, you can just have somebody TP you back into action and just keep going.

Well ye, I was thinking about fighting melee as well. Why is it a waste tho? Even that warriors are kinda overpowered nowadays good mages might have a chance killing em

I suppose if you want to 8v8, you can run 2 priests, but it's going to be less kills overall. Killing 8 people versus killing 20 people kind of deal. It comes down to preferences, but most of the top mage teams care more about getting kills/making nps than brawling with melee teams.

pointed that out because the enemies are playing with 2 priests, dunno if you saw that and doing a mage 8vs8 with a single priest against 2 priests is a huge difference especially if the mages have around 7-8k hp

6 mages shouldn't even be able to kill the other mage party as long as the Brand-team's priest knows what he's doing. 6 mages 2 priests is just wrong. It just tells me that the other mage team has shitty priests.

pretty sure 2 priest is the way to go in Usko servers with these AOE skills even in pk
hence the BRAND team was the only team (with 2 priest) that didn't get 1shotted by melee constantly

obviously ajan knows what he's doing (he's also one of the best priests i've ever seen). 6 mages 2 priests is usual in usko.

Could just be that mages in USKO deal more damage than I'm accustomed to. It still makes 0 sense to me though. Also, most of the PK videos that I watched from Manes featured only 1 priest. Oh well.

In PK they mostly use 7 mages, but yea in 8vs8 usually 2 priests (doesn't matter if against mages or melees)
