its not a bug, its some tbl edit.. it lets you use any shell you want at any lvl (for example.. a lvl 1 rogue could use mage shell o.0)

and if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that when a program read a file, the content is stored in your ram (memory), therefore editing the memory would be the same as editing the tbl, proving it is in fact still client side.

btw, if you can't wear shell on every char atm, there may be 2 reason :
_ first one, the client refuse to send the packet to the server if you don't have the requirements
_ second one, the server received the packet but declined because it is checked server side too

if the server doesnt do the check, sending a "wrong" packet will lead into wearing the shell, the same way it would have been done with the tbl editing (or almost), but i think the server now check if you're master or not before accepting the "equip shell packet"

well if that Tbl shit is back it means that you just need shell +1
edit it and buum +10 normal or now +30 like a gm!
if they open the source to let you do that bug it alows other shit also..

oO u think k2 is that dumb? they ofc not gonna enable full tbl edit-_- they just made a mistake and brought back that nubs run around with shells from other classes ,thats all ...
