that 6 is your spike
"number" being the overall damage reduction that your target has.
the higher number, the higher the damage mitigation. 10 is the average number (for decently geared people), it can go up to 20 or even higher, that would be for extremely geared warriors. 1-7for debuffed / undergeared / naked people.
it can go anywhere from 1 to 20+
(i made this formula myself, easy to calculate raw damage past ac)
soo lets say he had a "number" factor 5 (iron set + maliced) of reduction and your ap was 3k
3000 x 6 / 6 (x2 cp)= 6000ish
use this math for other examples, you'll see that it is surprisingly accurate.
he was either without HP buff, or on undy set + irons off, or just naked.
(note: weapon defense increase the "number" reduction factor quite a bit even if you are maliced / naked)
(note 2: this calculation already takes into account the level 70 passive damage reduction)

I happen to know he was BUFFED, because I saw his party buffer buffe him just before my party came and whiped his out, he hadn't been duffed nor even damaged for shit. iREGISS TP'd me to kill him due to me chasing a 1 hit, we both laughed our asses off when we saw me kill him in ONE hit instead.
Even IF he had been unbuffed, you think I should be able to do such sort of damage so easally to baba chars?
Personal dagger = End of story, the things this weapon can do is just amazing. I've heard from A LOT of people, including you razy, that I USED to hit harder than anyone else on the server, which is kinda funny considering my AP was only 23XX wolfed.
PS. Why would you create a formula which is so wrong that it's not even funny? It's like saying CP + Spike will always hit for that much (- the weapon defences and AC), when in fact the random number generator will do its work aswell. I've seen spikes hit as low as 1 and as high as.. Well, spike for 6k, and blind was the skill that 1 hit lZeus so it should of been less if we keep going by your count. I'd look how CP really works off of the private server files, some of the latest... but I honestly just don't care.

put there your ugly ass 2300 ap, divide by 10 (average) and ull see that u indeed hit most people for said amount with spike, thrust or any % damage spell.
red spells work like this: 100% of your total ap / opponent defense amount + (1300/3, true damage from bloody beast) in that order
