1. CTRL + O // or just "OPEN"
2. Save... .bmp
3. edit the .bmp pic in paint or PS
4. "Import Settnings"->Import© ... then open your pic and it will create a .dxt with the same name as the picture

oh, didn't know it was as simple as transfering a bmp to a dxt

Actually you can make it any pure color if you want, but i think the transparentness makes it look nice
