Recently I have been seeing people make about 7-8 +7s in a row but its most likely because they are upgrading a full inventory of +6's. Chitins are middle class so guess they are easier to obtain/upgrade. My luck however is crap I can not even make +6 chitin :/ I am very jelly of all the +8 items...even the +7's :/

Keep in mind that if they upgrade it without stats or elemental it will show another time as succeed when they add it.
