How do you power level?

There are some booro's that don't seem to attack mages who are using attacks from a distance. I was xping the other day and a clan mage was killing 1 booro at the speed it took the rest of the party to kill 2.5. However 10 attacks is impossible for any mage to kill a single booro.

They are probably farming shit without knowing the drop rate has been lowered so much.
