Looking for help creating a teamspeak banner

So I'm looking for someone to either point me in the right direction on tutoials on how to make a larger "banner" on photoshop. I found a website for signature tutorials and i've been trying the beginner ones but most of them are very specific on using their renders and stuff so it doesnt help that much.

I get it, and I don't do it for living nor I have done it for quite a while It was more of a hobby at 08-2011 when I did websites and banners for my own shooting games etc I just think that it's a bit strong word "only" considering there is many wannabe "designers" who can do a decent signatures, and banners. But of course there is a difference not denying it.

after all, it's for teamspeak3 and stuff like that anyone can do it even as wannabe designer hah :P
