guy i know on girakon is using 4 pieces +7 and he gets a bonus... you get a bonus for having 2+ armors not an entire set the advantage to having a full set is you get the full bonus... its like diablo 2 and set items.. 1 item gives xx bonus 2 items give xxx bonus and so on

I would take 4 pieces +7 and 1 piece +8 over a shell +9 set
but pretty how much it work is, +6 set is better then a +8 set, but you will lose about 50 AP talking rogue, but way more HP mana and resists.
About your question, 5 piece +7 is hands down WAY better then 3 shell 8 and 2 piece +9.
I have more HP then most 80 rogues and I'm 74. Dont even have the full set, 3 pieces +7 2 +6

A +8 Dragon set has more ap then a +9 shell set. the 15 dex bonus is basically adding 5 extra stats to the armors stat. So basically it would have 20 str on each piece. A +7 Dragon set would have more ap then a +9 shell set.[/b]

the more the pieces you have, the greater the bonuses. minimum is 2 parts to get bonus.

this is for warriors only:

+9chitins set> +7 dragon set

+7 dragon set> +8shell set

+8 dragon set= +9shells set ( almost same depends on wut u want, more hp mana etc or ac and ap)
dragon set gives great mana and hp. however, ap and ac goes down a bit. so its really up to the character's uniques and weapons.

Chikkypoo is 1st to get set7 in pathos or even usko. i duno.

ooSOLDIERoo is 2nd to get full 7s and also 8 helmet and yes first 8 wirinion in pathos but not first in usko

if i can have dragon set7/8 vs wirinion8, i go for the wirinion sweet kiss8, for the simple fact that it debuffs targets when you hit them and absolutely rapes in pk

these are not hard to find or make. you can make these by using drops from krowaz land or from merchants and you can get these in medals. some people have no clue what they are and that they gave good bonuses so they dont try to make it. sucks to be them.[/b]

I'd much rather have more AP and AC as a rogue sin or archer...I don't think +9 and +8 are even close in this instance.
