The year 2000 "Noah Wizgate" began the development of knight online.
By the year 2002 a closed beta was held by 3000 korean school students.

The idea of knight online was apparently to combine medieval europe with ancient greece / rome.

If you combine the "Internet Archive Wayback Machine" with the first registered Knight Online domain (http://www.knight-online.net) you'll find a shitload of great info about the early period of the game! Just remember to translate the korean parts, unless you already speak korean ofc :P
