We already have an ice tank in clan. Light tank? Well..blind is really helpful, and I still stun and cancel priests heals. And I can do it with 3 or 4 melees pounding on me without being afraid, lol. I also am versatile enough to the point where I can use my aztek faun 7 to get a better stun and slow rate. And once I get blink..on saturday, It'll be fucking beast. When our parties have both of us tank mages (similar stats, except he has a dread) we basically never die. ever.

Edit: oh..and I see what everyone means about the gabs. It has saved my ass so many times :P

Only about 500. But then again, I'm not meant to do dmg I still stun pretty well and I'm pretty good at cancelling heals so its all good.

was just wonderin cuz i got 72 ice mage with ds more ac than u, but i blade for 2xx-3xx with ge+7

Of course you'd have more AC with DS, its got 90 more defense then the gabs :P

Yeah lol, I'm a real AP whore though so paper ftw. I actually know INT is the better build (well at least that's my opinion until I've tried out full str build i.e my full+3/9 etc setup) then I might change, I'm actually going FP at 77 for a difference, depends if I get bored

I change my builds all the time I get sick of it, so I'm just putting all grades of BP armour in my inventory, then just swap em out when I feel a change

Only mages I didn't want to vs on diez were countess, simon and rutnekkin, they hits hard or play like pros

Mages are the worst to vs because of my low resists and mana drains, tbh I've stated this before though it's more HP what causes problem for me rather than resists and mana. Low resists, low hp means I have to heal more

It's not much of a problem anyway since soon as I malice a mage they either play smart or die, dmg easily goes into the 1200-1300 range every time

Yep, I don't really like hellbreakers, the damage isn't that much diff from my MS+8

But soon as you throw malice, or are massived. That's when you see the difference, the elemental helps a lot.

Hellbreaker ain't mine, I want a wirinom+8 and I'd love a HB9 for a backup wep :P

I'm only working on my jewels / armour atm, don't really care about HP or anything yet, wp+3/ep+3 sorts that out for now (have a wp2 atm)

The point of my mage is to stay alive ^_^. If the mage can't die..the party can't die, and that's how I like it . I'm also able to use shield and halloween cane and cancel heals/debuffs of priests, so it works well for me.

About the dagger talia thing..I really don't have much problem with rogues with shield on. I don't even use a dd helmet atm (waiting to find the right price) and I am always close enough to a priest for any crit/spike of a rogue to be completely useless. The warriors are more of a problem so I generally have spear or sword talia on. My server has tons of over-geared 83 warriors :P.
