just go for a happy median and make like 200mb video with decent quality?
i'd be happy with something between the 2 choices you gave...

I try to stick around 1.6 mb/s for quality on my vids. Rapidshare has a limit to filesize, but soon I wont be using it anymore so I can go larger then 100mb
what do you guys render your vids as? wmv? and which option...qualty bit?
to be honest... never made a video for publishing yet :unsure:
I render them as wmv and under custom quality, the larger I make the file the better the visuals. But you cant compress more then 2 mb/s
