best jewell for mage is element ring...
like imir ring = light mage
shio tears = ice mage
flame ring = flame dmg
i was with 235mp and still can hit more than 1200...
and using 2 flame ring+0 and staff of garfield+6
then u cant just kill a mage with dual flame rings and decent hp
i have 2450hp 737ac
230mp 116int and 70hp
i'm light now...
but i still can hit hard if i use a woe +7 or staff of garfield+6 sure if i use dual flame rings...
maybe u can get 800 ac
but if u really want ac just restat for 160int and get completes.

why should i stfu? paper mage IS useless unless u wanna jsut be a little pussy that can only drop a nova then town :rollseyes: but then again ive always been one to actually enjoy fights not just town/run away once sum1 looks my direction

i think preference comes into play here, and also how some people's experiences have gone. cama baba i dont think u had good times as paper if u ever were :P


as for why aellio and i are paper, i think with the right gear paper is the most useful to a full party but especially solo is crazy hard to defend against if played right. with def armors, all melee can be negated to a degree, and with fr/gr mages can be tanked somewhat as well. doing 800+ damage on a warr in addition to what other party members do forces him to run just as much as if he was iced or stunned, prob moreso bec more hp to pot + more people doing significant damage = run away time. having good gear makes retreat much easier, and if 11 points added into str, then using small shield + 24 spear or dd, makes tanking painless.
