Well we both are using same settings for wmv format, so look at the picture, it should be clear enought. (It for Vegas 8.0 Pro)

yea thats nice options but how much space does the videos takes /min? I know it could be abit less or more depends on effects and audio etc but around how much?
What about Sony Vegas Platinium 9.0 ??
you ask in PM so - I dont suggest any other version of Vegas than 8.0 Pro. I thought too that 9 will be better but there are so many things missing and I dunno why. But the render setting will be same I think. What about Sony Vegas Platinium 9.0 ??[/b]
I'm trying those settings right now, rendering a small video

I still prefer h264 a lot. Smaller size, higher bitrates and generally better quality. I'll post some compression instructions later this day
that explane the low size.. yeye but I'll try it when I get homeMostly pictures :P[/b]
Yup I use that too, needs to be rendered twice but it's definitely worth it.I still prefer h264 a lot. Smaller size, higher bitrates and generally better quality. I'll post some compression instructions later this day [/b]
more than one way to skin a cat..
yes those are settings for wmv"lame"format ... ofc h264 in mp4 is best.I still prefer h264 a lot. Smaller size, higher bitrates and generally better quality. I'll post some compression instructions later this day [/b]
pretty sweet man, i'll keep this that picture for the settings.
I'll def do that stuff
well i've done gaming movies for 9 years now and i can say this is not even close the best way
the quality also depends on much more things than just rendering settings. if someone captures with something else than 720p this isnt most likely gonna work (especially 4:3s)
vegas audio encoding has never worked for me but i'll try that later
h264 has a lot better compression but some computers just wont support those videos, and not everyone knows how to even play themI still prefer h264 a lot. Smaller size, higher bitrates and generally better quality. I'll post some compression instructions later this day [/b]
OK, nice.well i've done gaming movies for 9 years now and i can say this is not even close the best way, and also probably not even worth the quality/size
