    yea thats nice options but how much space does the videos takes /min? I know it could be abit less or more depends on effects and audio etc but around how much?

    you ask in PM so - I dont suggest any other version of Vegas than 8.0 Pro. I thought too that 9 will be better but there are so many things missing and I dunno why. But the render setting will be same I think.

    Video 's length is 57 seconds, and 18.8MB.

    I still prefer h264 a lot. Smaller size, higher bitrates and generally better quality. I'll post some compression instructions later this day

    Yup I use that too, needs to be rendered twice but it's definitely worth it.

    yes those are settings for wmv"lame"format ... ofc h264 in mp4 is best.

    well i've done gaming movies for 9 years now and i can say this is not even close the best way
    the quality also depends on much more things than just rendering settings. if someone captures with something else than 720p this isnt most likely gonna work (especially 4:3s)
    vegas audio encoding has never worked for me but i'll try that later

    h264 has a lot better compression but some computers just wont support those videos, and not everyone knows how to even play them
