this is what happens when I try to save the edited fail (with photo shop cs2) as a DXT file ( I'm saving it on the Item's folder, same error when i try at desktop) .
why ..?

Other fail I get ... ( I got win 7 64 bit using photoshop elements 8)
snoxd.net would be your best place for this kind of thing, but well here goes
open your .dxt file in the .dxt editor, save as .bmp, open with PS edit what ever u like, name it like doawldaodl.bmp then save the .bmp as a .dxt any name and just rename it
You are meant to save it as a .bmp with photoshop, then use the program to change it back to a .dxt, and I wouldn't save it straight into the ko directory. Just save it somewhere else then copy it into the folder.
I don't really know what that error is cause i've never seen it, make sure your doing what i said to the guy above.
Oh and to see what item your editing, there's a function in the program that will convert all the .dxt's to .bmp's in the specified folder so you will get to see the image of all of them, then just work it out
How can I know how to edit an armor to be as shine as +11rev ?
I can't find the right brightness or what I need to do to make it Shine ?

You can't make it shine like it does for +11...the shinyness is created through a .tbl file i'm pretty sure. You may be able to find the right brightness using photoshop, however it would be very hard to replicate it to make it look good =/
Start upgrading! lol
Another thing , When I try to replace an armor for an armor , lets say Rogue shells will look like chitins , The look isn't changed only the COLOURs if you get me ..
Why's that ?
What I did is : Taken the ID of chitin armor 2_4512_10_0 (pauldro) and put it as 2_4612_10_0 ... <-- shell pauld
like this awesome guy '''' http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=Cdw5Qr0c7QA
It's most likely because they have more then 1 part to them. Assuming your problem is that it looks half like chitin and half like shell, like it's been combined.
For example, chitin armor will be
2_4512_10_0.dxt
2_4512_10_0.n3cpart
2_4512_10_0.n3cskins
And you need to rename and replace all 3 files of each piece of armor.
hmm so how can I edit the n3cskins/part ? with dxt editor or ?
Depends what your trying to do, you shouldn't have to edit them at all just rename them.
Think of the other 2 files as the structure of the armor. So if it's chitin, you need them to get the shape/build of chitin, but you edit the .dxt to change colours, brightness or whatever else your changing. Apply it to any type of armor, i'm not actually sure what program you use to edit them, never tried probly never will.
