    hey, i got a 15min long video which i want to add to youtube...
    do i need to rerender it 2 times or is their a easier faster way?

    i had to render mine 2 times. just make suer that you select the area you want, and check the "convert looped region only" part

    Use sony vegas and select an area that you want to split and hit ctrl s and it will split it for you then save the two parts separately.

    he knows how to use sony vegas :P

    he's just asking if theres a faster way than re-rendering, which takes quite a while.

    exactly... and u don't press CTRL + S. You press "S" only

    I dont know what codec u used for ur video, but u can try Virtualdub, it can direct stream save a file without rerender. Actually, it can a lot more than that, but in case if u want a fast "how-to-do":
    Load the video, press [Home] to set the start position, then move the bar to the end of ur first video, and press [End] to set the end position, press "Video" at the tool bar, and select "Direct Stream Copy", then press File and "Save as AVI". Repeat the [Home] and [End] process for the second video.

    actully there is a way to upload movies longer than 10 minutes but i'm not sure how :S
