Defense is tripled for 10 seconds. However, attack rate is decreased by 50% during this time.

His ap sucks because he has almost no STR bonus only (+26)
His hp must be 14,000 though , and he can spam rice cakes :P.

I don't think he's using Wall Of Iron.
He just has +10 dread shields as his uniques and maybe he's skilled with 80 or 83 in defence so it gives him high bonuses.
Plus , he might have some special things he's using ( you know , GM power :P )
