That's my point. You have only had it 3 years yet you needed to repair it. My wife has had this 96' toyota avalon for over 8 years and it has 210k miles on it. The only thing we have went to the shop for is a normal timing belt change and some typical maintenance but never anything major.[/b]
I need to mention that my car was already 4 years old when I bought it, so by now its already 7 years old, and the previous driver used it for long travels. He drove 186000 km within 4 years, thats pretty much for a car, quite understandable the battery charger died few weeks ago, considering its being used practically 24/7. The shock absorber died coz.. well, depends on how ppl drive and the road (I'd say I drive a lot more wild than ur wife, both speed and care wise h34r: ), but I'd say its quite acceptable it died ½ year ago, which means after 6,5 years usage.

Sry for all these cars off-topic, but I couldnt resist to defend my car's name, coz of all vacunt's Ford discrimination h34r:

well may as well go off topic not like this topic mattered anyways cause Tez (whore) made it.

Well, I'll just say I think it is pick and choose. Both GM and Ford have lower quality standards in their plants which means some get assembled better than others... but hey I'm biased. :P I used GM's all through highschool and when I went asian I never turned back.

As for you driving quicker than my wife - it's obvious you do NOT know my wife. Maybe that car hasent been in the shop much but I will say this, it's had a fair share of new brake pads.

Dont go with 4gb of RAM unless your using a 64bit OS, with 32bit your limited to 3gb of ram. What kind of proc are you running? Mines Duo 2.13 but my FSB is larger then yours
