Transparent Cape Symbols

As far as I know Paul_Hewson was the first one to figure this out, so credits should go to him ^^

When KO crashes, most likely cause is that you don't have a symbol.bmp in your "symbol_us" folder. Make sure you really renamed it to "symbol.bmp" not "symbol.bmp.tga" (turn on view file extensions).

However, I just posted this method for everyone to know, but I will NOT be here to help everyone with their symbol problems, I simply don't have enough time for that. Figure it out from this post or get help from someone else, do not pm me please. Thanks.

i dont understand what this is. does it make your cape symbol go transparent so you can only see the symbol and then through the cape in other bits? O_O

how do ya turn on the view file extensions. Thats all i need to do is change it to .bmp and im good.

ok, when you go to add the symbol, will it show up as white when displaying it? or will it be transparent then too?

Well here is my problem everything works, when I preview it, it is transparent but when I apply it, it turns white >_< help

u cannot PREVIEW it .. it works in KO only

btw MAKING CHANNEL ALPHA 1

every &#39;black&#39; in this channel will be = transparent so sometimes if u got (dark symbol) u have to make an reverse

if u got a problem . .send me Symbol ... but i preffer .. better image than 32x32 :F ill resize myself

SAVE as symbol.TGA (32bit) change format to symbol.BMP (u cannot preview / blabla) it will work in KO

ur pic is bigger than 32x32 than... resize it to 30x30(or something like that) and try again...

I meant previewing it on KO. In the preview screen, will it be transparent?
