All best merchant weapons are literally powerful @ +10
Sword Breaker +10/100 => 109 AP - OWNS (MD+9 is 109 AP btw..)
Horn Crossbow +10/100 => 142 AP - OWNS
Flamberge +10/100 => 175 AP...
Long Spear +10/100 => 122 AP..

worst of it is they are low class (except for Horn xbow) at the beginning so not that much expansive to create. just takes ages.
