any expert on hooking up some speakers?

1x computer
2x big floor speakers connected to a amplifier
2x small speakers connected to the computer

so it looks like this:


So i have 2x cables connected to my computer and this is what i can choose:

Linj in
Mic in
Headphones
Frontspeakers out
Back/Rare speakers out
Center / Subwoofer out
Outgoing side speakers?

my translation aint the best, but if someone knows some good settings for this, tell me

If you want 5.1 from your pc , it not really worth the hastle using demestic stuff to do it. For the time and effort saved get a 5.1 system for your pc and wire up your bigger speakers to that. Basically you need a decoder to transmit the 5.1 sound from your sound card into the 5.1 sound. I use a creative system that allows me to use a digital signal for the 5.1 and the old anolog for my head set.

I just use my 5.1 system with a fiber optic cable that I swap between my computer and the ps3, all pretty simple
