AutoCAD electrical i use for electrical drawings
i used to use caddy ++ see for electrical drawings
isn't autocad more for like electrical drawings for cars / motorbikes and such ?
U can make anything man, like designing a dildo up to a space shuttle
im using autocad, workin on the new, ny giants stadium
yes fucking hate it
took it for 1 year and gave it up (too easy) maybe cuz it was first year course
dont need it unless u plan to do something in that field and ye i made lot of shit in school cars/house plans etc
lol andrew i am using it for school, drawing all kinds of stuffs
its easy to use once u get the hang of it. if it is a symmetry figure ur supposed to draw just mirror here and there.
well what i learnt in my lectures were kinda basic. my final test was to draw a frigging hand grenade XD
its always the distance thats giving the problems
AutoCAD is great but I fucking hate it. Get some nice job pay if you keep at it though

I used acad for over 10years but prefer microstation.. prior to leaving architecture (joined the military) i was using it in conjunction w/ other programs for visualization...
I also used it to help in creating scale models of buildings...
if given a choice, i'd go w/ microstation. i've been out of the business for around 4 years, so i have no clue what, if any, new features have been implemented.
