Best one: "I broke my finger going to 4th period, then it was good enough to go to 5th period" then add a fake signature and boom it works... I don't think they read the notes.

This isn't a an excuse, but it is a sick story. The boss of one of the crews where I work went to the front office and they told him he couldn't take his whole crew, they were only sending 2 of them..and he just yelled at told them he was sick and threw the paper work down and went home lol...It was kinda funny.
