    are u buying a new car or used car if ur buying a car that isn't that expensive just get no fault look for a l.a. insurance office or a look insurance office they shop for the cheapest insurance for u and u can pay them cash and in installments if u want

    i believe you must have insurance under your parents for something like 2 or 3 years before you can have your own insurance on your name, at least where I'm from. So really this question is useless unless your parents are uninsured :mellow:

    i got one of those cheap online insurance companies and they've helped me quite abit when i had an accident.

    it's the same as with everything else, you've got to compare, compare and compare again until you find what's best for you.
