I recently got myself a iiyama ProLite E2507WSV which replaced my iiyama Prolite E4355. Now in English I had a 17" and i got myself a nice 26". Anyway I thought I try playing around with the dual screens and it's soooo cool. Took me bout 45 mins of working out things but I now have the smaller screen with my itunes , email and msn on it while my main screen is for my writting and web pages and games.

Also I thoery when I am now doing mind numbing xp I can have a movie playing.

Does anyone else have dual screens set up on their pc's?

I do! My 42" plasma tv as secondary, and the 24" LCD as actual monitor =(

I use my TV screen as a second monitor using S Video out on my video card.

I often will extend my desktop to the second monitor and watch movies on my TV screen.

For me that has been the only practical use of it...duplicate screens can be kinda cool tho.

i use dual screen. 15.4" on my laptop and a 22 connected for movies and stuff. I use laptop cuz desktop isnt as convient for school. Its great. I love it. If its bigger than 22 though, it hurts my eyes and i dont have enough desk space anyways.

Depending on the need for more screen space, virtual desktops/workspaces is also viable.

Does anyone else get annoyed by the difference in resolutions if you are using two different size monitors? Lol

I have the small screen at a angle to my left side, I glance at it and it is easy to adapt too. I just gave it try for some fun. In all honesty I am fine using just the 26"as it is a faster screen and I have hooked it's speakers up so I now have 7.1 surround sound.

i used to use dual monitors, but its hard to turn the screen in ko, since ur mouse doesn' stop at the edge of the screen, it keeps going onto the 2nd monitor

also some games wont run when you have dual monitors on (quake 3 for example)

edit: atm i just have 2 computers with the monitors side-by-side

edit again: speakers > good for music/movies, bad for gaming
headphones block out all outside noises so if someones coming up behind u, u can hear them better

I did it for a couple of days then it started to get really annoying I kept dragging my mouse off to the other screen. Good for browsing websites though and doing different things at a time.
