G1Radio is an Internet radio station using the SHOUTcast D.N.A.S. Server to broadcast audio live to listeners. All that is needed to tune in is a media player of the user''s choice. If Windows Media Player is available, and the proper browser plugins installed, the user can listen through their web browser on the radio''s listen page.
Content is chosen entirely by the community, as it is the community that manages the station. Users can either listen or take charge and DJ themselves, letting the community hear what they want to hear. The password is available for all to gain access to the DJ features of the station.
The server only streams when someone is DJ''ing, so if a user ever notices a lack of streaming, they can DJ themselves.
The hope is that members of the G1 community will become aware and take use of the radio, allowing them to enjoy their favorite music while gaming, or relaxing.

it's really easy to tune in, and the music is ... well it depends on who's streaming
