$3.19 right now, and that's considered low
In Alabama gas ranges from $2.85-$3.00. It's at 2.95 in my area but it's dropping somewhat. I have 2 gas guzzling trucks to fill so it gets annoying but as I always say, <3 V8 excelleration.
I do plan on buying a motorcycle or compact sports car during the summer if I can afford another insurance payment. Either that or suck it up and go for my masters degree. The gas prices don't annoy me as much as having to fill up so often.
calm down vandy it was just a question. i asked this because it was announced on the news, it wasnt a speculation based on prices in my neighborhood, and sence we have had topics about gas prices here before i figured id try to figure out WHY they are dropping just so i can sound like a smart ass when somebody talks about it next you see, i think ahead.
but im aware they shoot the prices up for holidays, but my news station tells me that they will continue dropping in a steady downhill rate, i was just wondering why bush is still president, doesnt he want his daddy to have good business?
i was un aware that the refining process has become a lot more efficient is that the only factor though
Prices here have only gone up. Haven't really seen them dropping yet ...
Another factor which could influence gas prices is the government. Some governments have the possibility to subside the oil distribution stuff, so the gas prices are a few cents cheaper at your local gas stations.
I heard on the news that President Bush was asking some guy in the middle east who owns a bunch of oil companies to considered giving more to the US. If this happens gas prices should hopefully be going lower.
We have to find that oil in iraq soon,,, im broke cant feed my car some gas
Gas prices usually drop before an election.

Countries in OPEC are cheating. Some countries are producing more oil.
Mild Winter causing people to buy less heating oil.
But, oil prices are still high. $95 a barrel isn't cheap.
