Does anyone know how to convert Word (.doc or .docx) files to publisher (.pub) files? :s
I've been looking all over the web but haven't been able to find one
I gotta put them in a .bmp (paint) format, but if I convert it from word to .bmp it looks bad... =/

why would you want to make a word file (text) into an image ?

school work, and arthurios word doesn't lets "Save As..." to .bmp, and I spent like 3 hours looking for file converter but it was totally useless...

So you want:

Doc > Pub > Bmp?

Doc > Pdf > Bmp might work?

well i tried searching doc to pub, couldn't find it, and if i pass it to pdf and then bmp it doesn't looks like the word document, it looks disorganized idk :s

Best thing you could could is take screen shots and paste. Or if you have a scanner print the document and scan it and it will come out as a jpeg file and then you can convert easily. But yeah, there no direct way of Doc>Pub I think...

It's from word to bmp, not publisher to word but my teacher sent me to do that shit again so all help is welcome :P

it would make it a lot easier if we would know why you would want to convert a .doc file to a .bmp file.

first step, import your word file (Its .doc or .docx) into publisher


now, save the file in publisher as a device independent bitmap



now it is a .bmp(bitmap) image

It's for the school paper, and he wants it in .bmp so that the computer guy doesn't edit the files, and sexy how am I supposed to import .doc to .pub? :S nvm i think i get what ur saying, gonna try it... didn't work either , it looks messy and not like it should :s

upload the file on rapidshare or something so i can download it and see if i can get it to bmp without messing up its quality
