How's socialism? If you want to stop socialism then maybe you should stop paying taxes, and use all the programs the government offer to their citizens.

Yet no one wants to comment about the map. With advance media technology, I think this map is more accurate than the old electoral maps. Shows how we are still divided, by something...really stupid.

OMG Socialism in KO!!! Why should premium players maintain the server for the free to play players. WE SHOULD MAKE A PETITION TO MAKE KO PAY TO PLAY! Who wants to start?

^I'm sorry i missed where any1 said anything about socialism, we're just annoyed about how you're spamming political topics on the forums (case in point).

I don't need to know him to read between the lines. Name calling, cussing and sounding bitter aren't signs of being pissed... no never... [/b]
Thats your downfall. You don't want to take someones word for something that you don't know about because you think your right.

Actually that isn't communist, because in communism you would be forced to share accounts with people you don't want to.

Thought you were so witty, you just ended up making a jackass of yourself.

Thank God for this election, the moderate Republican wing of the party has been destroyed.

    Palin/Tancredo/Coburn, somebody CONSERVATIVE in 2012!!!

Aren't people force to share in KO now? How many lvl 80's you know were done solely from one person? That is, even their family played their character is sharing.

Maybe that convo was for the one I quoted AUDIO, and he know why.

My 1st intention was the maps, how we have change a little in an advance society. I, of course, would like us to be "purple". However with advance media technology I expect more changes.

It's not my downfall that I can see more clearly than you. I was taking his words at face value. He didn't have anything intelligent to contribute he just came in swinging and cussing. If that's not someone who's mad, if that's him being cool, hate to see his mad.

BTW this post have nothing to do with Obama. I was trying to say how this country is still retarded. Yet, you guys are too retarded to get it.

Look how many embarrassing moments happen throughout this election, I don't see why Obama supporters are celebrating. I'm certainly not because I realize I'm living among retarded people. Look at Private, he thinks he's an economic expert. Don't forget that crazy old lazy, Palin moments, hyped of "Joe the Plummer" and that priest separating people's God.

Thats the downfall of 99% of the ko4life users as well as of 99% of the citizens of the United States.

On topic, If you were asking this question 40 years ago I could write a short novel for an answer. Nowadays you need a 40 Volume Encyclopedia to encompass a half ass answer to the question of how much the US has changed in just the past 40 years!

As for the election, in my opinion both candidates sucked balls, and McCain almost literally did.

Obama has been in the Senate for a grand total of a little over ONE HUNDRED DAYS, yet people were comfortable in nominating, and electing him!? Shows how intelligent the American public is. <_<

As for McCain, I loved the guy when he was up for the Republican nomination 4 and 8 years ago. Why? because he was a "Liberal" Republican, often putting his own views above those of his fellow party members. However, in this election he realized the only way to gain the nomination and not lose it to some retard such as GW Bush was to "suck Republican dick." It was obvious by how his opinions often changed to match that of the majority of Republicans. It is a sad fact that a candidate has to do this just to get votes nowadays... Once again shows how remarkably intelligent the American public is. <_<

The media coverage, especially in the election is completely fucked. 40 years ago you would tune to a news channel and watch a program that simply provided factual information about what was happening in the world, the election, etc. Now you can't watch a news program without some partisan analyst telling you why he thinks one candidate "clearly won the debate" or giving his damn opinion. I sure as hell don't want to hear some other retards opinion, I want to form one for my own. CNN and Fox News are extremely guilty of this, which heavily lean to the left, liberal, and right, conservative, respectively. The best way to get the "NEWS" today is to watch a news network that is not based in the United States. People watch the news network that leans towards "their opinions," such as my family members only watching Fox News. It's really sad that you can get better news about American politics from the BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION (BBC) than from an American based network. <_<

America has made a 180 degree turn towards the opposite direction. It is a very depressing concept that 99% of people in this country have failed to grasp.

And as for those of you 99% who have failed to grasp that concept and are reading this post, I'm simply saying America has shoved a dildo up its own arse.

I don't understand how Americans can expect to unite the country when different regions have such different fundamental views. Honestly, the USA is being held back by the southern states; if your centers of education and tertiary industry (the north east and california) decided policy then the country would be in a much better condition. But, what Americans perceive to be virtues are in fact weaknesses (patriotism, faith, unregulated capitalism); I think that these things have to be overcome in the south before the country can move on and hopefully Obama can help that process. The cold war generation need to die out before hysterical and misinformed stigmas attached to socialism can be removed and policies can be judged on their real merits. By the way, your map is better viewed as religion versus secularism. The slave trade was justified by southerners for a long time by the bible, and it was merely a symptom of religious irrationalism.

I think one real danger to the USA if it continued on its previous course was a fall into dictatorship, or more realistically an commercial oligarchy. We have a large proportion of the population that is blindly loyal to the president, and treats any disloyalty as "un-Americanism". This sort of extreme nationalism is analogous to that of 1930's Germany. This population concedes powers to bypass human rights and basic freedoms to their government in a time of emergency, naively believing that their right to bear arms is some sort of insurance against tyranny. This paradox was growing bigger and bigger during the Bush administration. Suppose a faction of Americans objecting to a specific unconstitutional tax refuses to pay it and recruits others into joining them. The government with so much centralised power, and such a climate of paranoia, can label the group un-American terrorists and inprison them indefinitely without trial. The constitution won't help you, they already found loopholes to be exploited decades ago. You can't rely on the media either. It isn't a coincidence that after the only two occassions the USA was attacked (pearl harbour and 9/11), grave human rights abuses took place on a massive scale.

If you let the south dictate policy then you will end up with some christian fundamentalist draconian society with unlimited freedom until you decide you don't like the government, when it becomes unlimited penance. This is why this election was so important; it was the culmination of two conflicting ideologies: enlightenment, secularism, empiricism and humanism versus ignorance, fear, nationalism and superstition. I'm just glad the right side won. It didn't matter if Obama wasn't perfect (and he was nowhere near); when the alternative would be so catastrophic, one has no choice but to vote Obama. Hopefully the Republicans can spend the next 4 years returning to their roots and engaging in real adult politics. (I would be a classical republican by the way if you can believe it).
