if you look at the choices id given, they can be broken down into age groups.

as i explained to a flamer earlier, i didnt think it would be fun to split it up specifically by age, before a certain age.

elementary school is 6-12 years old
jhs is 12-14 years old
high school is 14-18 years old

college is 18 - 22 years old.

now, if youre 22 and still in high school, thats not my problem...

Well college isnt really the same but you were right about high schools, people are usually around 18 when they finnish. I'm doing my bachelor this year at Uni, 3rd year that is, and I'm 19.

there are cases in which people do advance faster in school then normal so they are jumped up :S a buddy ive known a long time skipped grade9-11 :S at just 16 started college at 17 :\ and college is another thing my dad started college at age 22 dropped out due to money problems and restarted at age 28 and finished at age 32 <_< so dont generalize school ages just by the norm.. some may not fit what you call "normal"

i myself started school earlier then most and got done w/ high school at just 16 w/ a few months till my 17th b-day that was a good long while ago as well *almost 10years ago :|* started college after the summer as well at just 17 <_<
