never played it but i heard cod 4 is more modern like up to date guns and world at war is like world war 2 times.

Everything is the same...except.

Guns and maps, and some little features. Such as 5 kills - Artillery, 7 kills - A pack of dogs come out to chase the opposing team.

Basically the same just different things you get when you get kill streaks. Like others said Cod4 is modern, Cod5 is WWII

just went and got WaW for PC
i read the little booklet that comes with it, its good that it has the same controls as cod4 i hate having to relearn everything

Be glad you got it on a console :P is all i can say... 80% of the people who bought it on PC cant even connect online, due to some broken link between master server and players.


P.S gfx in Cod5 blows... its more similar to Cod2 than Cod4.
