just a thought about mages

staffs have less fire ele at +8 than a normal wepon i was wonder could a mage us a 1h sword +8 and still hold a sheild and since more fire ele hit harder :S

i started the trend with my small shield +6 reduced before that they all just ran around with nothing in their hands lol......now ive seen 2-3 other mages running around cz with the exact set-up in my sig -_-
