Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Freddie Mercury, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Johny Cash, Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley etc

Notice, the people I mentioned are all dead, with the exception of Bob Dylan. When these people died, they were also greatly mourned. They were also considered the "best performer ever".

Michael Jackson appealed to Generation X, as Elvis did to the baby boomers, and Justin Timberlake does to the Millenials. He is not widely loved because he is a better performer. He is loved because he was the most popular performer of his time.

You shouldn't call people ignorant for posting their opinion.

Kiss could easily give MJ a run for his money on their performances, as well as Styx, Pink Floyd, hell, even the rodeo puts occasionally puts on a show comparable to him.

Alice Cooper&#39;s reputation was built on the shows he made.

Iron Maiden and Metallica, each performance has HUGE pyrotechnic displays, stage props everywhere, lasers, etc..
