I really recommend an Ipod Touch, especially since its a lot cheaper now. (and yes, i have one)

I too, would recommend an iPod touch. I had one about 10 months ago and I loved it, however, I wanted to upgrade to the iPhone, so I sold it on eBay.

id get another ipod, they are most compatible..esp with car cd/dvd players most new ones have ipod controls only..
