Would be Nice, except your getting a Shit Video card that only run better on Movie's, Which My SLI 8800 Ultra does perfectly fine Might I add.

Hard drives I would rather get 3x 500gb Harddrives running on RAID 5

Your board is outdated Period, Your better off getting a new one - And the one your thinking about getting also is outdated to high hell.

Why get a 1200W power supply, When you won't even be using close to that?

Do you even research shit before you spout off bullshit? The 3870 is the top of the line for the $180 price range atm, it's just as good as the equivalent nVidia card. Check reviews and check an actual site about video cards before you brush a card off for having the tag "HD" in it, which I know that's what you did.

I bought the card for myself and it runs great, idles at 45 C with 40% fan speed or so, plenty of room if I choose to overclock it.

Not to mention you can crossfire 2 cards, although you'll have to have a nice size motherboard to fit the two cards cause they are quite large.

Btw grats on comparing a 180$ card to a 700+ card.

    Thanks for the reply's

Always feel free to give me your opinion, i chose a cheap mobo+cpu for overclocking. This will be my first attempt and if it fails, then ill get MUCH better. If not ill stick with the overclock shit till it dies

And @ Akara, the PSU will be for future use, if i dont fully utilize it now, im sure i will a couple months from now.

but yeah Xp Pro 32bit and DX10 can blow me in vista, hi
