Need Help with Final Fantasy II (Super Nitendo)

I wanted to play Final Fantasy XIX but before I wanted to pla an older version of the game to see what's the game like so I got Final Fantasy II for Super Nitendo!!!

Im at the part where I see the king's ghost and he tells me to go to the land of summoned monsters but he doesn't say what for...
I went and found some items/armor for the archer girl and I found a weird thing that looks like a staff and its called change.
I couldn't find anything else in that town so I came back but couln't see the King's Ghost or any1 saying anything usefull :/
I also found a cave I haven't gone in yet ut i can't seem to find a way in...

So can Any1 help me out?
I wanna finish the game :lol:
