    Actually... There already is a new Windows in planning...
    Windows 7 (formerly codenamed Blackcomb, Vienna and Windows 7) is the next version of Microsoft Windows and the successor to Windows Vista. Microsoft has stated that it is "scoping Windows 7 development to a three-year timeframe", and that "the specific release date will ultimately be determined by meeting the quality bar."[/b]

    Windows 7 is formally known as Windows 7 now, the code names are just for development now
