So here's how the "Quiz" bowl works - every while or so, I will ask a question, and the question will be something about history, mathematics (logical mathematics), or science. Your job is to answer the question correctly. Each time you answer a question correctly you will gain a certain amount of points, and those points will be good for something later on that we'll be introducing. Having 10 points will be very, very favorable to you.

    So, here we go.

    Question #1:
A Union developed in the early 20th century, related to a large-scale movement that occured around this time period, as a result of the great conflict. This union was created by a man who established an army known for their dark-colored clothes, and whose actions were not supported by his wife's sister, who also began a movement in a country as a reaction against this man's actions.

The question is: What is this Union? Who was "this man" (the leader of the Union)? Which country did it occur in?

    Value: 2 points

Answer: British Union of Fascists, Sir Oswald Mosely, Great Britain

    Question #2:

The question is: What is the ratio of the duration that it takes for John to walk to the park, than if he walked home and rode his bike to the park? Logically prove your stated answer.

    Value: 1 point
